Equal housing opportunity

UniNest supports equal housing opportunity. The Service must not be used to discriminate, steer, exclude, or express an unlawful preference based on a characteristic protected by federal, New York State, or New York City law.

Protected characteristics

Federal fair housing protections include race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), familial status, and disability. New York State and New York City laws provide additional protections, which may include lawful source of income, age, marital or partnership status, military status, immigration or citizenship status, and other protected characteristics.

Listings and partner conduct

Housing providers and licensed agents are responsible for complying with applicable fair housing and anti-discrimination laws. UniNest may remove content, reject requests, or stop working with a provider when we reasonably believe the Service is being used unlawfully.
