How UniNest collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information about visitors and rental inquiries.
This Privacy Notice describes how UniNest ("UniNest," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information through the Service. It applies to site visitors and people who submit a rental inquiry or matching request.
The information we handle depends on how you use the Service and may include:
We use information to:
Submitting an inquiry authorizes UniNest to receive and internally handle it, including sending an operational notification to the UniNest operator. Submission alone does not authorize UniNest to share your inquiry with a real estate agent, housing provider, or other transaction participant.
Before any such sharing, UniNest will identify the specific recipient, verify the recipient's identity and applicable license or provider role, tell you which information would be sent, and obtain your separate authorization. UniNest will not send inquiry information to an unidentified or unverified recipient.
We may also disclose information to service providers that help us operate the Service, such as Vercel, Google Workspace or Google Sheets, Resend for operator email notifications, Google Maps and Places, and Sentry when error monitoring is enabled. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or others.
UniNest does not sell personal information and does not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. UniNest does not currently receive referral fees or commissions from agents. A user-requested introduction to a licensed agent or housing provider is used to fulfill the inquiry, not to operate a hidden data marketplace.
We retain inquiries, operational records, and analytics only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, to maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
Access, correction, deletion, listing-error, and suspected fraud or scam reports may be logged with the request date, verification performed, response, action taken, and resolution so UniNest can complete the request and maintain an appropriate operational record.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access restrictions and server-side handling of credentials. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted by emailing yijiaqi2017@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when permitted or required by law. You may also clear browser storage through your browser settings.
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
